A Heritage log home always makes a statement about its owners, and we can also help you complement the bold look of your interior and exterior spaces with a variety of specialty wood features, each designed to express your unique personality throughout your home. Popular wood embellishments include:
- Log stair systems - Choose from milled 4- by 12-inch timber stringers and treads or rustic, white-cedar, half-log stringers and treads. Log handrails are also available in rustic white cedar, which can be used on interior staircases or outside decks.
- Rustic timbers - These timbers preserve the one-of-a-kind character and beauty of each tree by highlighting knots, burls, twists, natural contours and other characteristics. Ranging from 8 to 16 inches in diameter and running as long as 22 feet, rustic timbers are awesome accents in both interior and exterior areas, including entryways, prow fronts, porch posts, newel posts, mantles and exposed interior support posts.
- Corner caps - Corner caps cover wall corners with specially fitted, Eastern White Pine posts, creating a clean corner with a beautiful, fine-finished appearance. Suitable for use on gable and shed dormers, garages and interior log-siding walls. You can even use them to dress up conventional drywall corners.
