
Congress not only voted recently to extend the previous “HOME BUYERS TAX CREDIT” but to also expand it to include “Move-Up” home buyers. First time home buyers are still eligible for up to an $8,000 credit while owners of existing homes who are purchasing a new principle residence can receive up to a $6,500 credit. Both programs require completion and closing by June 30, 2010.
In order to help our customers maximize their savings potential Heritage Log Homes has announced the “HERITAGE HOME BUYERS CREDIT”. For orders placed prior to February 15, 2010 (with a minimum 10% deposit) and delivered prior to March 31, 2010 a discount of 10% will be allowed on the Dry-In Package. In addition, Heritage will match the $6,500 available tax credit (Dry-In package price must be a minimum of $75,000 to receive the matching tax credit). When combined with the possible tax credit available through the government the savings opportunity is tremendous.

-$6,500 (Heritage Match of Tax Credit)

The above example represents a savings of over 27% (including the “Heritage Home Buyer Credit” and the Government Sponsored Tax Credit). When you combine this with the historically low interest rates now available there has NEVER BEEN A BETTER TIME TO BUY. Remember though, you must have your new log home completed and closed by June 30, 2010 to qualify for the government tax credit. SO ACT TODAY!
