A Letter from the President
|

|
As I remember, the first signs of spring on the farm where I grew up came from the weeping willow trees. Last weekend I was out at the farm and noticed a welcome site along the creek bank; yes the willow tree limbs were starting to turn their odd shade of green. Spring, it’s around the corner!
This year the arrival of spring is of significant importance. Winter has been long, cold and difficult throughout much of the country this year. This winter brought the first real snow my 15 year old daughter has ever seen. We all across America are anxious to see the buds, the ground, the blooms and the warm sunny days.
Spring is also the time that many of our customers start their projects. Building plans have been made, homes designed and logs & timbers are being manufactured. In a few days construction will begin because some of our folks have decided that the Labor Day cook out or their Thanksgiving Turkey will be served in their new Heritage home.
If you want to start your project and need some assistance or you’re ready to build your retreat give us a call. With the opportunities that exist within the real estate market and with interest rates still at historic lows, there is no better time than now.
This weekend as you and your family are driving look around the creek or the river at the weeping willow trees. Do you see any green shoots?
Sincerely,
Michael E. Magill
