The home of Ed & Ellen Grant is truly unique.  It started as a sketch that Ed was working on, just a few scratches in a yellow legal pad.  Now it is a prime example of the Arts & Crafts series that Heritage has recently introduced.  The first thing you will notice is the red stain on the upper level of the home.  Add this to the generous amounts of Board & Baton and Cedar Shakes and you have a striking log home that just has to be seen.  Inside the Grant’s used Rustic Timber Posts, Iron & Wood hand railing, Sheet Rock walls and Teak Floors.  The main floor was designed with an open flow to allow the fireplace to be seen from the kitchen and the bedroom.  Down stairs in the finished basement or “Ed’s Room” as it is called, is a bar custom made of Cedar & Red Wood.
